76 Mr. Belton asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food the up to date position in relation to the application of a person (details supplied) in County Longford who is seeking an allocation of land in an estate (details supplied).
As the allocation of land is a matter reserved by law to the Land Commissioners I have no function in the matter.
However, I understand that proposals for the disposal of the balance of this estate are being finalised with a view to early allotment. The application in question will be fully considered before allotment takes place.
