Vol. 405 No. 1

Written Answers. - Departmental Staffing.

Bernard Allen

Question:

83 Mr. Allen asked the Minister for the Environment if he will ensure that there are personnel available to meet the public at his Department's office in Sullivan's Quay, Cork because engineers cannot be present there due to outdoor commitments.

My Department do not have public offices in any of the premises, including Sullivan's Quay, Cork, which are used as operational headquarters for some housing inspectors. The public offices of my Department, for housing grant purposes, are in Ballina, County Mayo.

I have no proposals to change this arrangement.
