Question:188 Mr. Hogan asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when a special beef premium and suckler cow grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny.
This applicant has been deemed ineligible for payment under the 1990 special beef premium scheme because he failed to respect the retention period laid down in the scheme. His payment under the 1990 suckler cow premium scheme is being processed and will issue shortly.

Land which has been accepted for the payment of premium under the set aside scheme may not be used for the cultivation of daffodils.
