Vol. 405 No. 3

Written Answers. - St. Francis Hospice Funding.

Tony Gregory

Question:

291 Mr. Gregory asked the Minister for Health if he will outline the provision he is making for funding for St. Francis Hospice Home Care Services, Raheny, Dublin 5 who require £148,000 to run the service in 1991.

I allocated a grant of £100,000 from the health allocation of the national lottery proceeds to St. Francis Hospice in December 1989.

The question of further funding of this project is being examined and will be considered as sympathetically as possible in the context of the many competing demands for resources.
