323 Mr. Gilmore asked the Minister for Education if her Department uses private couriers to deliver departmental correspondence; the courier firms which are currently engaged; and the total amount paid to private courier firms for each year since 1984.
My Department makes very little use of private courier firms and, in fact, has not used one since 1989. The amounts paid to private courier firms by my Department for each year since 1984 are as follows:
