Question:131 Mr. Spring asked the Minister for Foreign Affairs if he will give a breakdown of the amount of money his Department intend to spend on consultancy services in 1991; and if he will make a statement of the matter.
Written Answers. - Departmental Expenditure on Consultancy Services.
The estimated expenditure on consultancy services in 1991 under the bilateral aid programme will amount to £2.4 million. This includes £2.2 million funding for 19 contracts in respect of projects or programmes managed on a consultancy basis on behalf of the Department of Foreign Affairs by international, private or public sector bodies and funding for technical consultancy advice for projects which total £0.2 million.
My Department do not anticipate any other expenditure on consultancy services in 1991.
