Question:207 Mrs. T. Ahearn asked the Minister for Education the reasons for the delay in appointing the members to the National Council of Education Awards; and if she will make a statement on the matter.

I wish to give very full and careful consideration to the composition of the NCEA Council. As I indicated in the Dáil recently I expect to be in a position to re-appoint the council shortly.
