Question:

183 Mr. R. Bruton asked the Minister for Health the service outputs in the dental services in each health board area in the years 1989 and 1990, and the projected figure in 1991.

The following tables show the numbers of adults and children who received emergency and routine courses of dental treatment in 1989 and 1990. Projected outturns for 1991 are not yet available.

The following table shows the level of spending on dental services in each health board in 1989 and 1990. Precise information in relation to the projected expenditure for 1991 is not immediately available but will be forwarded to the Deputy in due course.
