The direct cost to my Department of the review body was £77,639.
The Primary Education Review Body was established on 18 February 1988 and had 21 members, including the Chairperson, Dr. Thomas Murphy. There were 16 members nominated by educational organisations, four members nominated by the Minister, two of these being from the Department of Education, and one member nominated by the review body on the primary school curriculum.
