Question:51 Mr. Allen asked the Minister for Foreign Affairs the percentage of the total work force in his Department which consists of registered disabled people.

My Department currently employ a total of 787 permanent staff, five of whom are disabled. This is 0.63 per cent of the total staff of the Department. Four of the officers concerned were recruited from special panels set up by the Civil Service Commission. I am not in a position to say whether any of the five officers is registered as disabled.
