Vol. 405 No. 9

Written Answers. - PRSI and PAYE Contributions.

Ruairí Quinn

Question:

65 Mr. Quinn asked the Minister for Finance if the Revenue Commissioners have received all moneys due from a sole trader (details supplied) in Dublin 4 in respect of employers-employees PRSI contributions and PAYE contributions so as to ensure that the employees are in full benefit and the employer in full credit with the Revenue Commissioners for the tax years 1988-89 and 1989-90; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

I have been advised by the Revenue Commissioners that the information sought cannot be furnished since taxpayers are entitled to confidentiality in relation to their taxation affairs.
