Vol. 405 No. 9

Written Answers. - Tax Rebate.

Liam Fitzgerald

Question:

66 Mr. L. Fitzgerald asked the Minister for Finance when a tax rebate will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Wexford.

I have been advised by the Revenue Commissioners that the taxpayer was employed between 6 and 27 April 1990; during this period he paid tax of £52.94. All of this tax was refunded to him during the current tax year.

The inspector of taxes has no other application for a refund, neither is he aware of any other income on which £200 tax has been deducted.
