91 Mrs. T. Ahearn asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if he has provided adequate financial resources in his estimates, to honour his commitment in the budget speech, to bring forward into 1991 the increases in cattle headage rates scheduled for 1992; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

Minister for Agriculture and Food (Mr. O'Kennedy):

The estimate for my Department provides for the additional expenditure which will arise in the current year as a result of bringing forward the increases in headage payments from 1992 to 1991.
