70 Mr. Bell asked the Minister for the Environment the reason for the delay in making payment of a national lottery grant to the Dundalk Football Club for renovations at Oriel Park, Dundalk, County Louth; when the grant will be sanctioned; the amount of same; and when payment will be made.
Although this projects was included in the list of projects submitted by the local authority for a grant under the amenities-recreational facilities grants scheme 1990, I did not find it possible to allocate a grant because of the limited funds available and the number of other deserving projects. It is open to the sponsors of the project to apply again under this year's scheme.
