75 Mr. Bell asked the Minister for Education if she has any plans to sanction a grant from national lottery funds for the provision of a school library by the parents council of the Presentation School, Ballymackenay Road, Drogheda, County Louth; and if she will make a statement on the matter.

My Department provides per capita grants to local authorities under the schools library scheme rather than to individual schools.

Details regarding the operation of the library service in a particular area should be addressed to the local authority for that area.
