Vol. 406 No. 8

Written Answers. - Safety in the Workplace.

Tony Gregory

Question:

41 Mr. Gregory asked the Minister for Labour if he will investigate conditions at a premises (details supplied) in Dublin 1 and take appropriate action to safeguard the health and safety of the employees working there.

The matter raised by the Deputy is concerned with day-to-day activities of the National Authority for Occupational Safety and Health (NAOSH). I have passed on the details supplied by the Deputy to NAOSH and requested them to investigate the matter with a view to ensuring that the occupational safety and health legislative requirements are being complied with.
