Vol. 406 No. 8

Written Answers. - Inquiry into Death.

Michael Bell

Question:

55 Mr. Bell asked the Minister for Health if he has any plans to convene a public inquiry in relation to the unfortunate death of a person (details supplied) in County Louth; if he will convene a meeting with the representatives of her family who are anxious to impress upon him the need for such an inquiry; if he has examined all the documentation submitted to him in this regard; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

Because of the possibility of legal proceedings in this case, it would be inappropriate for me to comment publicly on the matter at this stage.
