Vol. 407 No. 1

Written Answers. - Lifford (Donegal) School.

Patrick D. Harte

Question:

306 Mr. Harte asked the Minister for Education if she will give an up to date report on the proposal to modernise and extend St. Patrick's national school, Murlog, Lifford, County Donegal, for which tenders were received in February 1991; and the reason for the delay in finalising the matter.

Tenders for the proposed extension at St. Patrick's national school, Murlog, County Donegal, have been received and are being examined at present. When this examination has been completed the question of the placing of the contract will then be considered. The Deputy will appreciate that examination of tenders is time consuming having regard to the need to process the tenders strictly in accordance with the standard contractual procedures.
