Question:

74 Mr. Cosgrave asked the Minister for the Marine when it is proposed that the fish auction hall at Howth, County Dublin will be established; whether his Department have made the necessary finance available to establish the fish auction hall; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

Minister for the Marine (Mr. Wilson):

I refer to a reply, delivered on 18 December 1990, in which I indicated that subject to availability of finance, the fish auction hall at Howth is expected to be operational in about two years time. Provision for the building has been made in my Department's fishery harbour development programme.
