Vol. 407 No. 9

Written Answers. - Military Cemetery Protective Rail.

Tony Gregory

Question:

108 Mr. Gregory asked the Minister for Finance if the gap in the protective rail erected by the Office of Public Works on the wall of the military cemetery (details supplied) in Dublin can be railed off as youths are causing damage to gardens and extreme upset to residents by gaining access to the cemetery at this location.

Palisade fencing recently erected by the Office of Public Works at the Dunard Avenue cul-de-sacs has successfully prevented unauthorised access by trespassers to Grangegorman cemetery from the public road.

The need for further fencing on the perimeter of the cemetery wil be examined by the Office of Public Works.
