Question:182 Mr. Spring asked the Minister for the Environment if additional funds will be provided to Tralee Urban District Council for the completion of a roadway from Killeen to Oakpark Road, Tralee, County Kerry.

No detailed proposals for funding a road scheme from Killeen to Oakpark Road have been received in my Department.
A special grant of £20,000 has been allocated to Tralee UDC in 1991 but they have not yet submitted proposals for its expenditure. A further block grant of £32,000 has been allocated, the expenditure of which is at the discretion of the UDC.
