Vol. 407 No. 9

Written Answers. - Arranmore Island (Donegal) School Equipment.

Dinny McGinley

Question:

211 Mr. McGinley asked the Minister for Education if domestic science equipment is being provided for the post-primary school on Arranmore Island, County Donegal.

An allocation of £10,000 was made by my Department to County Donegal Vocational Education Committee on 18 October 1990. The allocation was for the purpose of the purchase of equipment, including domestic science equipment, having regard to the number of junior certificate level pupils attending Arranmore school in the 1990-91 school year.

A further allocation for equipment will be made to County Donegal VEC in respect of the number of junior certificate level pupils who will be attending the school during the 1991-92 school year.
