Question:218 Mrs. Fennell asked the Minister for Tourism, Transport and Communications if he will indicate the legislative measures his Department must take consequent to EC Directives in preparation for the open market in 1992.
Written Answers. - Single Market Directives.
A list of the Directives, and proposed Directives, arising in relation to my area of responsibility was set out in my reply to a Dáil question by Deputy Ruairí Quinn on 20 March 1991; columns 1665 to 1670 of the Official Report of that date refer.
As regards the implementation of Directives adopted, the need for legislation, and the form it should take, will be determined in due course on the advice of the Attorney General.
