Vol. 407 No. 9

Written Answers. - Funding for Bands.

Seán Ryan

Question:

54 Mr. Ryan asked the Minister for the Environment if the amenity, recreational facilities grant scheme, financed from the proceeds of national lottery surplus, caters for the grant aiding of various types of bands such as pipe, brass and marching bands for the purchase of equipment and uniforms; and if not, if he will amend the scheme to cater for such funding.

Any applications for grants for these purposes, which have been recommended by local authorities, will be considered.
