Vol. 408 No. 1

Written Answers. - Dublin Child Abuse Centre.

Dick Spring

Question:

62 Mr. Spring asked the Minister for Health if his attention has been drawn to the under-funding and under-staffing which exists in the treatment unit of the Child Sexual Abuse Centre in Temple Street, Dublin 1, and the great hardship and trauma that this creates for children who have disclosed their traumatic experiences and who urgently require the referred professional help; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

I am not aware of any difficulties being experienced at St. Clare's Unit, The Children's Hospital, Temple Street, in providing the required professional service.
