134 Mrs. Owen asked the Minister for Education if she will investigate the feasibility of purchasing the Phoenix Park Racecourse as a sports area for Dublin City University in view of its lack of full sporting facilities which are available to other universities.

I would not consider the Phoenix Park Racecourse as a reasonable option in relation to the provision of sporting facilities for Dublin City University taking into account its location and the likely cost of purchasing land in the area.
