Vol. 408 No. 4

Written Answers. - Meath Crime Statistics.

John V. Farrelly

Question:

114 Mr. Farrelly asked the Minister for Justice the number of reported incidents of crime in each of the Garda stations in County Meath for each of the last three years; and if he will give a breakdown of the categories of crime which were reported.

The number of indictable crimes recorded by the Garda authorities for the sub-districts of County Meath for the years 1988 to 1990 is set out in the following tabular statement.

Figures relating to categories of crime for these sub-districts are not readily available and could be obtained only by the expenditure of a disproportionate amount of Garda time and resources.
