Vol. 408 No. 4

Written Answers. - Sexually Transmitted Diseases.

Richard Bruton

Question:

158 Mr. R. Bruton asked the Minister for Health if he will outline in respect of 1990, or the latest year for which figures are available (i) the total number of persons treated for sexually transmitted diseases and (ii) the number of new cases of patients with sexually transmitted diseases being treated at present; and if he will further outline the classification of these patients by disease treated.

The details requested by the Deputy are not readily available in the format requested. These details are, however, being compiled at the moment and I will make them available to the Deputy as soon as possible.
