Vol. 408 No. 4

Written Answers. - Income Tax Rebate.

Theresa Ahearn

Question:

56 Mrs. T. Ahearn asked the Minister for Finance when a rebate of income tax will be made to a person (details supplied) in County Tipperary; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

I have been advised by the Revenue Commissioners that the inspectors of taxes has no record of receipt of a claim for a tax refund from the taxpayer. The inspector has requested the taxpayer's P60 for the year ended 5 April 1991. On receipt of this form her liability for the year 1990-91 will be reviewed and any tax overdeducted will be refunded to her.
