Question:57 Mr. J. Bruton asked the Minister for Finance if he will include tax expenditure within the analytic framework of the publication Comprehensive Public Expenditure Programme.
Written Answers. - Tax Expenditure.
It has not been the practice to include information on tax expenditures in either the summary or comprehensive editions of the public expenditure programmes publication. The 1991 edition of the summary of public expenditure programmes has been finalised and will be published in the very near future. Accordingly, it would not be possible to accede to the Deputy's request this year. I will, however, consider the point raised by the Deputy in the preparation of future editions.
