55 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Justice if it is intended to restore staffing levels in the Family Mediation Service to the required level; if his attention has been drawn to the need for extra staff in the service; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The clerical staffing of the Family Mediation Service has already been restored to its appropriate level and the number of hours worked by the mediators is a matter currently under discussion between the co-ordinator of the service and officials of my Department.
