Question:131 Mr. Garland asked the Minister for the Environment whether he intends to request a complete environmental impact assessment on the proposed dump in Kill, County Kildare, from Kildare County Council.

The development of installations for the disposal of industrial and domestic waste with an annual intake greater than 25,000 tonnes is of itself subject to EIA requirements by virtue of the Local Government (Planning and Development) Regulations, 1990.
