190 Mr. D. Ahern asked the Minister for Tourism, Transport and Communications the present position of the application for a renewal of the annual licence to carry passengers of the Violet Bus Service Sandymount, Blackrock, County Louth; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
Halpenny's Transport Limited have applied to the Department for the renewal of two annual passenger licences. Appropriate forms in respect of the licences were sent to the company in December 1990 for completion. The Department is still awaiting the return of these forms.
When the forms are returned by the operator to the Department the renewal of the licences will be processed as soon as possible.
