(Carlow-Kilkenny): May I ask a question on the non-information in the Minister of States reply? Considering that the unemployment figure stood at 247,991 at the end of April 1991 and that we are facing a major crisis, is that the kind of answer I should be given in the Dáil?

The Deputy's question was essentially statistical and matters of policy do not arise therefrom. We now come to questions nominated for priority to the Minister for Foreign Affairs. These questions are governed by Standing Orders, and we have 15 minutes only to deal with these five questions.
