89 Mrs. T. Ahearn asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food the reasons a person (details supplied) in County Tipperary did not receive a milk quota under the Mulder scheme; if any compensation is allowed towards financing an alternative enterprise and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The person named did not obtain a definitive quota allocation as he did not comply with the requirement under the Mulder scheme that at least 80 per cent of his provisional quota allocation had to be produced on his "non-marketing" holding within a 12 month period from 29 March 1989.
