13 Mr. Rabbitte asked the Minister for Labour when the new Bill to amend the Unfair Dismissals Act 1977, and improve the procedures for the operation of the Employment Appeals Tribunal, which was promised in the Programme for Economic and Social Progress will be introduced; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The Bill is being drafted and will be brought before the Oireachtas as soon as it becomes available. I expect that this will be in the latter part of 1991.
