Vol. 409 No. 2

Written Answers. - Surveillance Allegations.

Dick Spring

Question:

64 Mr. Spring asked the Minister for Justice if the Government's attention has been drawn to the electronic surveillance of certain Irish banks by foreign security and intelligence services, as alleged in a media report (details supplied); and if he will make a statement on the matter.

I am aware of the media report referred to. I have no information about the allegations in question and I am informed that the Garda authorities have none either.
