Vol. 409 No. 4

Written Answers. - Grant Payments.

Charles Flanagan

Question:

208 Mr. Flanagan asked the Minister for the Environment the reason for the delay in paying a new house grant to a person (details supplied) in Country Laois whose case has been going on for over a year-and-a-half.

Some of the documentation requested from the applicant has been received but one item remains outstanding. The applicant has been informed of this.

Edward Nealon

Question:

209 Mr. Nealon asked the Minister for the Environment if any grants are available for a person (details supplied) in County Sligo who used a coastal passage for access to about seven acres of his farm but who now finds that this part of his property is land-locked because the coast passage was washed away in last year's flooding.

There are no funds available to me from which a grant could be provided in this case.

Paul Bradford

Question:

210 Mr. Bradford asked the Minister for the Environment when a new house grant was approved for a person (details supplied) in County Cork; and when payment will issue.

The grant was approved on 12 August 1988 but additional information requested from the applicant has only recently been received. The grant will be paid as soon as possible.
