Vol. 409 No. 4

Written Answers. - Hospital Admission.

Brendan Howlin

Question:

217 Mr. Howlin asked the Minister for Health if his attention has been drawn to the case of a person (details supplied) in Country Wexford who has had arrangement for her admission to Beaumont Hospital, Dublin 9 cancelled on five separate occasions and on each occasion has had to make and then postpone home arrangements made in anticipation of her hospital admission; if he will take steps to ensure that this patient's admission is not again postponed; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

I understand from the hospital that the patient in question was admitted on Friday last, 31 May 1991.
