Vol. 409 No. 4

Written Answers. - Dublin Fish Market.

Michael Joe Cosgrave

Question:

54 Mr. Cosgrave asked the Minister for the Marine if he has any proposals regarding the closure of the Dublin fish market; if he informed the fish merchants that a co-operative run by Howth fishermen would operate the fish auction hall in Howth harbour; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

I have no proposals regarding the closure of the Dublin Fish Market, which is owned and operated by Dublin Corporation, nor have I informed the fish merchants that a co-operative run by Howth fishermen would operate the fish auction hall in Howth.
