Question:87 Mr. Yates asked the Minister for Justice the reason a person (details supplied) whose husband now resides in County Wexford was refused a visa to enter the State.

It has never been the practice to disclose reasons for the refusal to grant a particular visa. However, I have reviewed the case in question and have today issued instructions that a visa be granted to the person concerned.
