Question:

296 Mr. T. Kitt asked the Minister for Social Welfare if he will outline the number of old age non-contributory pensioners who are age 70 and over.

There are currently 116,250 people in receipt of an old age non-contributory pension. Of these, 91,950 people are aged 70 and over.
