Question:

372 Mr. Byrne asked the Minister for Justice if he will outline the number of taxi-drivers/owners who were charged with offences committed under the various public service vehicles regulations in each of the last ten years; and if he will further outline the number of taxi licences which were revoked during this period.

The details requested in respect of the last eight years are as follows, (such details are not available for years prior to 1983):

During this period, no taxi licences were revoked. There were, however, 12 small public service drivers' licences revoked.
