Vol. 411 No. 1

Written Answers. - State Boards' Reports.

Jim O'Keeffe

Question:

393 Mr. J. O'Keeffe asked the Minister for Justice if he will outline in respect of each semi-State or other body submitting an annual report to his Department, the date on which the 1990 annual report was (a) received by him, (b) laid before the Houses of the Oireachtas and (c) circulated to Members where applicable.

The annual report of the Garda Síochána Complaints Board for 1990 was submitted to me on 19 September 1991. It will be submitted to Government shortly and then laid before the Houses of the Oireachtas. The annual reports of the Criminal Injuries Compensation Tribunal, the Legal Aid Board and of the Commissioners of Charitable Donations and Bequests for Ireland for the year 1990 are, I am informed, in the course of preparation and will be submitted to my Department as soon as possible. These reports when received will be submitted to Government and then laid before the Houses of the Oireachtas at the earliest opportunity.
