Vol. 411 No. 1

Written Answers. - Construction of Isolated Cottages.

John V. Farrelly

Question:

468 Mr. Farrelly asked the Minister for the Environment the allocation made this year for the building of isolated cottages in all the counties throughout the country; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

I refer to the reply to Question No. 239 of 24 October, 1990. The position in relation to the provision of isolated cottages is similar. No specific allocation is made for the building of isolated rural cottages; the funding of such houses forms part of the annual capital allocations made to housing authorities for their housing construction programme as a whole.
