Vol. 411 No. 1

Written Answers. - Ennis General Hospital Geriatrician Appointment.

Donal Carey

Question:

506 Mr. Carey asked the Minister for Health if discussions have taken place with the Mid-Western Health Board in relation to the appointment of a geriatrician to Ennis General Hospital in County Clare; and if he will outline the date he expects the post will be filled.

I can confirm that discussions have taken place on this matter and I am pleased to inform the Deputy that the Mid-Western Health Board intend to appoint a consultant geriatrician on a permanent basis at Ennis General Hospital in December 1991.
