Question:559 Mr. Hogan asked the Minister for Health when work will commence on the extension to St. Luke's Hospital, Kilkenny; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

Tenders have been received by the South Eastern Health Board for the provision of an extension to St. Luke's Hospital, Kilkenny and a report on these tenders has been submitted by the board to my Department. This report is being considered with a view to approving the acceptance of tenders as soon as possible.
