Question:565 Mr. McGrath asked the Minister for Health the up-to-date position in relation to the planned extension to Mullingar General Hospital, County Westmeath.

The second phase of the development at Mullingar General Hospital is at an advanced stage of planning. The question of the timing of the tendering process and the commencement of construction will be determined, having regard to the capital resources available to my Department and the priority which can be afforded to the project in the light of other competing priorities.
