672 Mr. Aylward asked the Minister for Education if she will outline the progress made to date regarding an extension which is urgently needed to a national school (details supplied) in County Kilkenny; and if she will arrange for her inspector to call to the school authorities at the earliest possible date.
My Department have decided upon the extent of the additional land needed for the development at the national school in County Kilkenny referred to by the Deputy and have authorised the school authorities to commence negotiations for acquisition. Meanwhile my Department will put the preparation of a feasibility study for the project in hands and complete it at the earliest possible date.
