149 Mr. G. O'Sullivan asked the Minister for the Marine whether funds have been allocated to repair the deepwater quay at Cobh, County Cork, having regard to the urgency attached to these necessary works; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
The deepwater quay at Cobh is the responsibility of Cork Harbour Commissioners. The commissioners have been informed by my Department that their request for a grant towards the cost of repairing the quay will be considered when my Department's Estimate for 1992 and, in particular, the allocation for fishery harbours have been finalised.
